Ammonia Solution
Acrylic paint can be easily removed from porous surfaces such as metal, glass and plastic with a regular household cloth or ammonia. This is because ammonia can raise or lower the pH levels in emulsions and make them more stable. Sodasy ammonia is perfect for the job because it contains soap. Detergent loosens the acrylic particles and makes it easier for you to clean them.
How to Get Acrylic Paint Off Glass With Ammonia
Step 1: Add two tablespoons of ammonia and ¼ teaspoon of liquid soap to half a cup of water. If you are using sudsy ammonia, avoid soap because it already contains soap.

What we love about rubbing alcohol is that it’s dirt cheap, and you can find it at your local convenience store. You’ll want to use a 99% concentration. However, you may have to order it online or buy it from a Kirby shop.
How to Get Acrylic Paint Out Of Glass With Rubbing Alcohol
Step 1: First you prepare a 1:3 dilution of rubbing alcohol. This means preparing a solution that is three parts warm water and one part alcohol. A numerical example will help to simplify this further. If you want to make more, take 5ml of rubbing alcohol and add three times as much hot water to it. Therefore, you should add 15ml of warm water to dilute the rubbing alcohol to 1:3.
Step 2: You can choose to take the solution in a spray cup or bottle. And you apply a generous amount of the mixture to the dried acrylic paint.

How to Clean Dried-Off Acrylic Paint With Denatured Alcohol
Step 1: I would suggest that you first prepare a 1:1 dilution of denatured alcohol. In more simple terms, take a certain amount of denatured alcohol and add an equal amount of hot water. If you take 15 ml of denatured alcohol, make sure to mix it with 15 ml of water.
Step 2: Take the distilled alcohol mixture in a spray bottle and mix it up and spray it on the acrylic paint.
Step 3: Wipe off the paint with a towel afterward.
Step 4: After removing the paint, you simply rinse the glass with clean water. Otherwise, the compound remaining in the glass may cause future stains. It will also affect the quality of future acrylic paint work. So it is better that you clean it properly
Acetone
Acetone is not good for use on plastic surfaces because it is too abrasive for them. But, it is still a suitable choice for glass. If you need a powerful acrylic paint remover, acetone may be just the thing for you! You can buy cans of acetone at any hardware store or online. It is not poisonous, but you need to be careful because it is highly flammable. Therefore, do not smoke while using acetone.
How to Use Acetone to Remove Dried Off Acrylic Paint
Step 1: Adding a small amount of acetone to the acrylic paint will give you the best result. You can use any old toothbrush to apply the acetone if you prefer. Do not dilute it as you will need the full strength of the acetone to clean the glass.
