Step No 1: Choose the accurate shade of Red:

In the first step, you need to focus on choosing the right shade of red.  Many shades of red with the touch of white paint usually give Pink color. But here we need to achieve the long-lasting shade that is Permanent Alizarin Crimson. So, In the First step, you choose Permanent Alizarin Crimson for Hot Pink. 

The second shade of red with which you can also work For the Hot Pink paint mixture is Quinacridone red. This is also a good and common shade and is easily available in paints.   The choice is yours.

After getting chosen the right shade of red paint now drop the red color with a little bit of amount on the top surface of the mixing palette. And spread it with a palette knife.

Step No 2: Choose the Right shade of White:

For the white paint, you can use any type of white but just like the previous step of Red, you need to choose the brightest and most reflective white color. So, we will take the highly recommended  Titanium white. Now pour a bit amount of white in the beginning and place it near the red on the surface of the palette.

Here I want to make it clear that don’t exceed the amount of white paint at the beginning and save it in dilute the red color. You can add more if needed.

Step No 3: Mix the paint together

Now take a paintbrush or knife. Start mixing the white into the red properly. Soon, it begins to turn into a reddish tone, then add a more drop of white to the texture and mix it again. 

Remember the darker the red paint you use, the more white you add to lighten it to Pink.

Step No 4: Pour a pinch of Blue or Violet color

You have found bright Pink paint after mixing the white and red. Now you will add the final last color into the mixture in order to convert the Pink color into Hot Pink. So, take a Hold of your final color which is violet or blue. Always keep in mind one thing while adding the final color, its amount must be a little.

Don’t drop a whole otherwise, it would turn into magenta. So try with a bit of blue or Violet and mix the pink and blue shades together. After adequate mixing, you will get your desired color Hot pink Paint.

How To Make Hot Pink Paint with watercolor

If you try to get an experience with watercolor for Hot pink paint Making. Then First you take a watercolor set which usually comprises some limited colors such as red, blue, green, black, white, purple, and yellow. Here you will have to mix different colors to get your particular shade. So, be ready to make Hot Pink paint by playing with watercolors and keep following the given below instructions carefully.

Step No 1:  Take a glass of water and Brush

In the First step, you rinse the brush with water properly.  Take a clean and clear water container and dip your paintbrush into the water. Press it strongly against the container’s bottom in order to open up the bristles. Now, give your Brush a run against the rim so that it would be able to release more water from the bristles.

Step No 2: Pour  the Red and White paint

In case when you are working with dry watercolors. For getting color in a liquid form, you dip the brush inside the water container or glass and back into the color kit. The same way you do for both white and red paint and pour a little red and white as well on a palette.

But on the other hand, If you are using wet watercolors that come in a tube. Then you drop a bit of red and white on a palette. Just like in acrylic paints, you take a low amount of red and white paint drop at the beginning of your painting. You can add more later as needed.

Step No 3: Add both Red and White paint into the water Glass.

After placing red and white colors on the palette, you will take a little bit of red paint with your moist/ wet brush and drop it into the water container/ Glass. Then repeat this process with white. Take a bit of white paint drop with the same brush and dip it into the water container.  And Mix it softly while mixing you will see the watercolor has turned Pink.

Now relying on a darker shade of red, you can get a darker tint through it. If the color is too light, you can use red paint a bit more to lighten up the color.

Step No 4: mixing the Blue or Violet 

In the Final step, you get hot pink watercolor by adding a small part of Blue or Violet. Remember to add blue or Violet color in little amounts otherwise the increments of Blue or Violet will turn the whole shade into magenta. So, avoid your unwanted color, mix the blend slowly and surely with your Brush and analyze the result. If the texture doesn’t change into Hot pink, you need to use another brush worth of Blue or Violet.
