Sherwin-Williams Topsail

Topsail by Sherwin-Williams is a nice, light aqua colour with overtones of grey and green. This colour is a favourite of interior designer Brittany Oursler of Marnie Custom Houses and DIY Network’s Big Beach Builds because it recalls the peace of the beach and makes your house seem like a vacation destination.

According to her, “[It’s] an excellent accent in a bathroom.” The soothing, welcome atmosphere you desire in an outdoor house is created by the hues of the beach, the water, and the horizon.

SHERWIN WILLIAMS SEA SALT SW-6204

Sea Salt is unquestionably one of the TOP THREE green paint colours. That’s correct; sea salt is a mix of green and grey. However, it has a reputation for leaning blue, so I had to add it in my list of favourites! Green, grey and blue come together to create a subtly colourful, serene combination ideal for a soothing spa-style bathroom or a family-friendly setting!

Benjamin Moore Healing Aloe

You may recall my infatuation with Benjamin Moore Healing Aloe if you’ve been following me for a while (7+ years?). It’s the most lovely light blue-green colour, and the brilliant white trim really makes it pop. For many years, I was inspired by the picture below by Caitlin Creer Interiors.

Rainwashed

Another stunning blue-green Sherwin Williams paint colour is called Rainwashed. It also has a strong grey undertone and leans somewhat more green than blue.

In comparison to a colour like Watery, Rainwashed has a more mature appearance. In Rainwashed, the grey makes it a bit softer and more subdued.

However, Rainwashed belongs to the same family of medium light paint colours as Watery. Rainwashed is not the lightest colour, with an LRV of 59.

Here, Rainwashed is seated in an eating area. As you can see, it seems a bit more green where sunlight reflects off the walls and a little more grey in the brighter light above the window.

Claire Paint Views

Views is a medium blue colour by Clare Paint with a tinge of green.

When combined with striking red and cosy rattan wood, this minty, light blue hue may stand on its own.

Sherwin Williams: Sea Salt

With Sherwin Williams Sea Salt, our DIY-blogging buddy Courtney from Pizzazzerie demonstrates how blue-green paint can produce a restful bedroom. We just like how employing high LRV blue green made this bedroom seem spacious and bright.

Due to the relaxing impact that blue greens may have, many people like to use them in their baths and bedrooms. Take note of how well this flexible wall colour is complemented by the warmer tones and wooden embellishments.

Largo Teal by Benjamin Mooore

Vani Sayeed’s pass-through wet bar catches everyone’s attention with its blue-green colour scheme. In order to create a gathering area that was inspired by the client’s garden, the designer combined a wallpaper with a floral theme and dramatic veining with a deep teal from Benjamin Moore.

Benjamin Moore Sleigh Bells

Benjamin Moore’s Sleigh Bells is a different luminous and airy blue-green that our designers like. This shade of aqua, which is a little bit deeper, is excellent for a bedroom or a den. Sleigh Bells, in the words of Keira St. Claire, owner of Anthony Hunt Design/Build, “creates a serene feeling” and goes well with the lake seen from this bedroom’s window.

BENJAMIN MOORE SILVER MARLIN 2139-50

Silver Marlin is AMAZING. This adaptable, relaxing colour is ideal for a variety of house designs. With its blue-green blending and gentle grey background, this colour is understated.

Benjamin Moore Beach Glass

Beautiful “muddy” blue green paint colour called Beach Glass by Benjamin Moore. It features hints of grey, which in certain lighting gives it the appearance of a neutral. It’s a beautiful way to add colour without being too strong to your room.

Sherwin Williams Tidewater

Williams Sherwin Watery and Tidewater are colours of paint that are extremely similar. In actuality, a paint strip is shared by Tidewater and Watery.

If you want something a bit lighter but truly appreciate the vibrancy and burst of colour that Tidewater adds to a room, Tidewater can be a perfect option.

In a space with a bit less natural and artificial light, it will perform better.

Farrow & Ball Green Blue

Although I can freely confess that I like Farrow & Ball paint hues, I have not actually purchased any of their products. I normally have a nearby paint shop, like Sherwin Williams, colour match the Farrow and Ball colour I’ve picked since it isn’t offered locally and is a more expensive brand.

Even while it will never be perfect, this match is quite near.

The ideal blueish-green teal colour is Green Blue by Farrow and Ball. The colour may fluctuate based on the time of day or the quantity of light present in a space, like many blueish-green paint colours.

Rookwood Sash Green Cabinets

I knew Rookwood Sash Green was the contemporary colour I was aiming for when I first saw the little paint chip for it. It will be used to refinish our painted cabinets. I had intended to use Pewter Green or a comparable shade. But this Sherwin Williams blue-green’s depth truly won us over.

Chapelle Green by Farrow & Ball

This large rural kitchen was created by Stephanie Sabbe of Sabbe Interiors for the 2021 House Lovely Whole Home. Dusty blue green cabinetry and textured brick flooring go well together. A casual eating set-up, a colour scheme that promotes relaxation, and materials that will patina with time all contribute to the room’s laid-back vibe.

Sherwin-Williams Hunt Club

Hunt Club is Allie Mann’s favourite product since it’s not just daring and bold but also highly adaptable. She says, “[This shade] is a colour chameleon.” This daring option may change its appearance to one that is more green or somewhat blue as needed, making it incredibly appealing and well-liked.

Anywhere that requires to add a splash of colour, like an island, an interior accent wall, or even a chandelier in your powder room, this is a fantastic option.

BENJAMIN MOORE GRAY CASHMERE 2138-60

The colour of Grey Cashmere is a LIGHT blend of grey, blue, and green, with a little preference towards grey. Even though it won’t seem to be a simple grey, the grey helps to significantly soothe the blue-green blending. And while it is a combination of the three hues, it often leans more towards blue-gray than green-gray.

Benjamin Moore Woodlawn Blue

Robert Benjamin Woodlawn Another colour that may function somewhat as a neutral in certain settings is blue. It is a colour that goes well with a wide variety of other hues. especially in houses with a seaside style!

Healing Aloe

Benjamin Moore’s Healing Aloe is a delicate blue-green colour. It is a paint colour that I would classify as being light and airy.

Healing is little more green than blue and also has a greyish undertone. Although it is not precisely like sea salt, it has a similar flavour.

Healing is also going to be a fantastic option for a place with little natural and artificial light. While it could sparkle a little more in the direct sunshine, it might also wash off.

Farrow & Ball Blue Gray

The pigments used to create this cold blue shade include blue, green, and black. This colour may change from blue to a cool grey depending on the moment of day to convey a laid-back and cosy atmosphere.

Rookwood Sash Green In Entryway

We created a straightforward DIY mudroom option for us in our entrance by converting a closet. We decided to carry the colour combination of Reflective White and Rookwood Sash Greens into the cubby since it is next to our kitchen.

River Blue by Benjamin Moore

Designer Regan Baker used a smoky blue-green hue in this San Francisco home to give an adaptable bunkroom a sophisticated feel. The room, which was created with visiting grandparents in mind, functions as a cosy hideaway owing to the enveloping colour that Baker mixed with neutral comforters and a striking Vivienne Westwood rug.

Clare Current Mood

Although Clare’s current mood leans more towards green than blue, it has a faint blue undercurrent that gives it a romantic vibe. Make sure you have sufficient natural light to match such an audacious colour since it is a deep, dark colour that will fill any space.

BENJAMIN MOORE MOUNT SAINT ANNE 1565

Although you’d never guess it by looking at it, Mount Saint Anne is a stunning blue with a respectable grey background and a hint of green undertones to soften ‘er up.

Benjamin Moore Palladian Blue

Despite its name, Palladian Blue reads more green than blue and is a calming blue-green paint colour. It complements vivid white and other blue hues as well as vibrant pinks and corals well!

Aegean Teal is Benjamin Moore

Aegean Teal is the 2021 Colour of the Year from Benjamin Moore. With an LRV of 24, Aegean Teal is much darker than the previously mentioned paint colours.

William Moore The Aegean teal prefers blue to green. Additionally, it has some grey in it, which prevents it from being very brilliant.

If you want your walls to be an extremely saturated, incredibly deep shade of blue green, Aegean Teal is a stunning colour. It is a fantastic paint colour for cabinets as well.

Farrow & Ball Cromarty

Cromarty is a lovely green grey that, in certain lighting, has a hint of pastel blue. I often save the picture below (created by Whitney McGregor) because I like the colour of the walls. I’m thinking of painting my guest bedroom and office walls in this neutral shade.

Retreat by Sherwin Williams

Colour was crucial in creating the ideal atmosphere at Thomas Rhett and Lauren Akins’ Nashville house, which she characterised as “feeling like your grandparent’s home.” Designer April Tomlin used Retreat by Sherwin Williams in the basement gathering space to provide the desired lived-in feel, and Rhett’s western hat collection was used to decorate the shiplap walls.

Farrow & Ball Inchyra Blue

Farrow & Ball’s Inchyra Blue, according to Caitlin Murray of Black Lacquer Design, “perfectly walks the line among blue and green.” It reads as melancholy and difficult because of the addition of some black, she explains, which makes it both exciting and calming.

There’s no denying that this colour is very sombre and gives any room a dramatic air. Try using it on a kitchen island or as an accent wall in the bedroom behind the bed. It goes nicely with beige or brown, but we really like it with gold accents.

SHERWIN WILLIAMS RAINWASHED SW-6211

The colour scheme of Rainwashed is a blue-green-gray with a strong blue bias and a weak green undertone.

Benjamin Moore Wythe Blue

William Moore One of the most famous front door colours in the world may very well be Wythe Blue. Another chameleon, it changes its undertones to be more blue or green depending on the surroundings. It looks fantastic on shutters and fantastic with so many exteriors!

“Front

When I first saw the Hiya Papaya house tour on Home of Turquoise in 2011, I instantly fell in love with this gorgeous blue-green paint colour. At the time, that was essentially my ideal exterior!

Palladian Blue

Benjamin Moore’s Palladian Blue is a well-liked, gentler blue-green paint colour. Depending on the illumination, it may seem more blue or more green, although neither is definitely dominant.

Palladian Blue may be stylish or enjoyable.

Although Palladian Blue isn’t very vibrant, it nevertheless seems to be a real colour on your walls. It lacks the grey that Healing Aloe and Sea Salt have.

Glidden Silver Maple

Silver Maple by Glidden is another bright and airy greyish green colour for walls. Higher LRV blue-green hues provide a more airy and calming quality.

Hauge Blue by Farrow & Ball

Designer Cecilia Casagrande concentrated on harmonising and accentuating the house space via the imaginative use of colour while renovating an 1895 colonial outside of Boston. of her most beautiful applications? The living room’s deep, rich shade of blue green. Farrow & Ball’s Hauge Blue, a well-known designer favourite colour, perfectly contrasts the space’s restored woodwork and vintage accents, giving it a feeling of antiquity while still adding a contemporary touch.

Sherwin-Williams Teal Stencil

Consider Teal Stencil if you’re looking for a blue green that lies in the middle of of the road in terms of saturation. This colour, in the words of Kimberlee Marie Interiors, “is a versatile colour that pairs well with a variety of shades of grey and nicely compliments other pops of colour.”

With this colour around, she explains, “it also has mild tropical sensations, which may help make everyday seem like a holiday. To give a lot of depth to your area, try pairing it with brilliant white colours.

BENJAMIN MOORE GIBRALTAR CLIFFS 1587

Oh my God, I adore this colour! A lovely option for a mellow, somewhat West Coast atmosphere is Gibraltar Cliffs! It combines blue and grey while letting a little bit of green show through to soften it.

Behr In the Moment

As the 2017 Behrs Colour of the Year, In the Moment is a “restorative blue green hue” that is intended to calm and relax.

A paint colour with a lower LRV of 30 will reflect less light and seem to be a deeper shade of blue green than a colour with a higher LRV. Consider lightening it by 25% if you like this colour but it seems too heavy in your room. The majority of paint retailers have this excellent choice.

Wythe Blue is a

Benjamin Moore’s Wythe Blue is a nice example of a medium depth blue green colour. Despite being termed “blue,” it has a little bit more green than Palladian Blue does.

Wythe Blue is a traditional hue that has long been in vogue. It looks lovely in a space with plenty of natural light and doesn’t wash out as much as other lighter paint colours might, but with an LRV of 49, it isn’t the ideal option for darker rooms.

Sherwin Williams Drizzle

Sherwin Williams Drizzle is a well-liked front door colour, but I like how it was used below on a ceiling! Such a serene and lovely colour. Additionally, it gives off a Caribbean and Florida Keys impression when used with brilliant white! If you’re seeking for a Benjamin Moore colour that’s comparable, St. Lucia Teal is a close match!

Dix Blue by Farrow & Ball

Infuse your bathroom with a soft blue-green colour to create a tranquil haven where you may retire at the end of the day. The use of Farrow & Ball’s Dix Blue in this Achille Salvagni-designed room was almost lyrical in its nature, adding a sense of Italy to the Hamptons residence. The Amalfi Coast saw a lot of this teal in the 1940s and 1950s, according to Salvagni. The light carved-marble bathtub contrasts and compliments the exquisite blue, which draws attention to the high ceiling and pays homage to old Roman hot baths.

Sherwin-Williams Composed

If Abbe Fenimore of Studio Ten 25 is looking for a blue-green colour that works in almost every environment, she chooses Composed. Since it has the ideal balance of blue and green with a little grey undertone, she claims that it really lives up to its name. I like how the colour may change somewhat based on the amount of natural light in the space as well as the colour scheme chosen for the furniture and accessories.

SHERWIN WILLIAMS EARL GRAY 7660

Although Earl Grey is GREY, it has a strong undertone of blue-green.

By the way, did you know that I completely depend on AFTER images from my local and online design clients? We appreciate yours being sent in.

Benjamin Moore Silver Crest

According to Benjamin Moore, this light blue colour is made elegant by the tiniest hint of grey and green. Several of our bathrooms have this warm paint colour, and it gives each area a spa-like atmosphere. Crisp white linens complement the look well!

This paint colour, which has an LRV of 70, is excellent for use in spaces without windows, including bathrooms. More light will bounce off of it, giving the space an open, spacious sense.

Benjamin Moore Williamsburg Wythe Blue

William Moore Williamsburg The Wythe Blue that I previously stated sounds a lot like Wythe Blue. It’s definitely different, however! Paint colours from the past were “transported and given a future,” according to Benjamin Moore. The range of colours in our Williamsburg® Paint Collection is ageless and yet traditional and contemporary. I like the basic colour in its richer, teal variation. And the picture below displays a unique and lovely colour combination with this blue-green paint shade!

BENJAMIN MOORE WOODLAWN BLUE HC-147

A VERY well-liked blue shade is Woodlawn Blue. Many of the most well-liked blues of today have a lot of green, but not this one. This shade is virtually a genuine blue (with grey) and just slightly green, which prevents it from being freezing cold and helps it hold up a little bit better in a room facing north (where a true blue colour on the walls would look TOO chilly).

Farrow & Ball Dix Blue

This colour is referred to as a vintage blue by Farrow and Ball. This paint colour has a significant amount of green incorporated into it, similar to many of their blues, which gives it a warm and inviting vibe.

Farrow & Ball Stone Blue

SHERWIN WILLIAMS COMFORT GRAY 6205

Similar to how Sea Salt is the light-medium variation of Comfort Grey. It is somewhat ninja-like, appearing more blue-green in certain places and green-blue in others, exactly like Sea Salt!

Benjamin Moore Sea Star

Benjamin Moore Sea Star is a lovely mid-tone blue green paint colour that is perfect for giving your house a seaside feel.

Sloe Blue by Farrow & Ball

Designer Emilie Munroe of Office Munroe used Sloe Blue, a colour from Farrow & Ball’s Archive Collection, to warm up the sizable 700 square foot living room in the 2021 House Lovely Whole Home. According to Munroe, she decided to be “bold, colourful, vibrant, and innovative to create a magical environment when welcoming people into this home.” Just a hint of green in the inky shade keeps it vivid enough to stand up to other striking features in the room, such as a bespoke mural, 20-foot ceilings, and colourful accents.

Dunn-Edwards Pistachio Ice Cream

Designer Dani Nagel used pistachio desserts to paint her own house to give it a playful, whimsical feel. “I knew I wanted my flat to be colourful and playful, but also elegant and elevated,” the woman claims. “I thought this colour was bold and bright enough, but it also had a certain elegance.”

Sherwin Williams Oceanside

Williams Sherwin The 2018 Sherwin Williams Colour of the Year was Oceanside. Personally, I think this deep blue with jewel-toned green looks best when coupled with other strong hues, like in the illustration below. According to Sherwin Williams, “Oceanside’s multi-dimensional, marine-inspired design may make an inviting statement as a lively paint for a front door.” Its green-meets-blue colour scheme may also encourage relaxation and introspection in a bedroom or reading nook, as well as foster creativity and mental clarity in a home office.

Behr Ocean Abyss

If you want to make a big impact, think about applying Behr Ocean Abyss in your dining room, sleeping space, or even on the ceiling. This deep aqua shade is ideal for a calm colour scheme since it may seem either blue or green based on the lighting. It complements neutrals like tan or beige well, but it may also compete with other strong hues like orange or pink.

SHERWIN WILLIAMS SILVERMIST 7621

Even though I don’t currently have many pictures of Silvermist, it’s an AMAZING colour that I’m often questioned about in my online paint colour consulting! And although it seems a little bit darker and calmer in the next image, you can anticipate it to have a little bit more chroma (colour) in MANY rooms.

Sherwin Williams Rainstorm

I like using Sherwin Williams Rainstorm for an accent wall or kitchen island. In a home office, it would also look lovely on built-in cabinets!

Behr Underwater

Finding the ideal blue-green colour sometimes requires some trial and error, according to Jersey Ice Cream Co. co-owner Tara Mangini. Behr Underwater was the perfect shade for this wonderful sunporch.

For this porch, “we tried so many different blues and greens, but this was the only one that felt just right-deep and rich, not too blue, not too green,” she adds.

BENJAMIN MOORE BEACH GLASS 1564

If you’re seeking for a colour that appeals to blue with a kind gesture towards both grey and green, I’ve Certainly saved the best for last.

Beach Glasses has been in business for a very long time. Beach Glass, which is located just above Mountain Saint Anne on the fan deck, takes a similar tack, but because to its greater LRV, your walls will be left with a softer imprint.

Benjamin Moore Newburg Green

On this one, don’t be misled by the name. Despite having green overtones, the colour reads as a deep, jewel-toned blue in interior spaces. If you can’t decide on a pure, dark navy blue, this is the ideal alternative since it leans towards teal.

Blue Haze is a really soft, calming blue green that you may like. Bedrooms are where Annie Elliott of Annie Elliott Design like it. Benjamin Moore Dark Harbor

This striking blue-green paint colour looks equally stunning on matte and glossy lacquered walls. Whether it’s an office, dining room, or powder room, the sombre colour is ideal for areas where you want to add a little drama!
